Thanksgiving 2009

People We Love + Fried Turkey + Leaves = Best Thanksgiving Ever

Andrew flying through the air pretending to be a football star.

Graceful girls.

The brothers.

Someone always gets hurt.

Sorry, Amber. It's hilarious.

That's better.

I'm so glad Jen finally said yes. We love Dave & Jen.

All the guys minus Matthew.

All the girls minus Mimi.

I have to admit...the beard is growing on me this year...not literally, though.

Katherine had just gotten up from her nap.

Lauren vs. Lori...who do you think won?

Despite many attempts, we could not get a good picture of these tired ladies. Oh well, you're going down!

101 Dalmatians

Katherine & Isabella were both dalmatians for Halloween this year.

Isabella is a newborn, so she doesn't have any spots.

Lauren was Cruella De'vil. The whole thing was her idea.

Walking up the stairs to Katherine's party at school.

Katherine enjoyed carving her first pumpkin.

She was entertained for an hour picking out the seeds one by one.

Of course, we had to do it.

Isabella's chewing on the pumpkin.

It's too bright!

So cute.

Isabella was passed out. The pumpkin photo shoot was too much.

Ready to trick or treat!

Heading out the door.

October 2009

Here are some pictures from the month of our precious girls.
Katherine was in the Northridge Homecoming parade with Andrew. Isabella and I opted not to participate. :-)
Katherine's hair is getting longer and curlier. I've had to start using Redken product on it to keep it under control. Katherine has serious bed head after her nap.

One Month Tomorrow

Isabella will be one month old tomorrow. We're adjusting well. I'm back leading all rehearsals at church and coming to the office in the mornings. Isabella has come with me the past few days and does great. She just sleeps on the futon.

The choir had a "pampering shower" for us a couple of weeks ago at the first Wednesday rehearsal that I was back. Kay Vaughn made the cake, and it looked just like a pampers box - so cute!
We took Isabella to church this past Sunday for the first time. She was dressed up in a little blue dress that Katherine also wore on her first Sunday at church. I picked out blue clothes for all of us, and we were going to take a great family picture right after the choir rehearsed, so then it wouldn't matter if we all got wrinkled or dirty or whatever. Well, I had been sitting in the sanctuary for about 10 minutes holding Isabella listening to the worship team, and she spit up pretty much her entire bottle all over her dress. It went everywhere. So, we're all in our picture outfits, and Isabella is in PJs!

Going Home

Isabella opted to stay two extra nights for the free spa treatment before going home with us. It was hard to leave her Thursday night, but we knew she would be taken care of and needed to stay to get rid of her jaundice. It also gave us a chance to get the house ready for her. She came so early, we were not quite prepared for her at home yet.
Katherine was so excited to pick Isabella up from the hospital. So were we!!!

Sisters!

Katherine was sooooooooooo excited to meet Isabella. She is very sweet to Isabella and wants to hold her, feed her, kiss her and share her toys. So precious.
