Katherine was playing with her new walker and doing very well, so we pulled out the video camera. Of course, then she wanted to play with the video camera. You can see her take a few steps with the walker. And then, she gets up close and personal with the camera. I just love her little face!

Happy Valentines Day!
Katherine got three balls for her first Valentines Day: soccer, basketball, and a big fun purple ball.
Aunt Judy, Aunt Linda & Uncle Jimmy came for the weekend to visit. Katherine entertained us all with her new sounds. And, everyone babysat on Friday night, so Andrew and I could enjoy an evening alone! 
Uncle Jimmy brought Katherine a University of Tennessee football and tried to teach her to be a UT fan. We thought the ball made a good chew toy. 
Friday, the ladies went shopping for a recliner for Andrew. Katherine approves! 
Sunday, it was a little warmer (57 when we left for church), so Katherine wore one of her spring dresses.

We're Still Here!
Hello blog friends! Our recent lack of posting has not been due to a lack of activity for us! I was gone for half of last week taking my final class for ordination (Expository Preaching). I have one assignment to finish up, then I will be finished! Last Friday, Katherine came home sick from school. Her first full day back was yesterday. We are so glad she's feeling better!
Katherine turned 8 months old yesterday, and we celebrated some firsts this week with her.
She graduated to the big tub and loves the new freedom. She crawls around and stands in the tub. I knew she would and that it would be a huge effort to keep her from doing so. We invested in an inflatable bumper pad and a mat for the bottom. That way, it will soften any spills she might take.

We also introduced Cheerios and Zwieback toast. Katherine is not a fan of the Cheerios.
She likes the Zwieback toast. I don't think she's really swallowing much of it yet, but she likes to chew on it until it's good and mushy and smeared all over her face, hands, and high chair.
